I create my room through a series of woodcuts that depict objects of utility and experiences from my stay in Unit #1505 in Chicago. I will not have that second realization or warning that a hearing person has. There is a part of me that feels I will be blind-sided in my meeting with death, I will not hear death whisper in my ear “it is time”
